During his adventurous life, the French writer, Saint-Exupéry was not only on a quest for new experience, but time for noting down his thoughts and feelings to leave such masterpieces behind as The Little Prince. As an adult, the above thoughts still often come to my mind, when in the dawn we start the day, and at night finish work. We are like designers who try to achieve perfection, but never know what to add or take away. We are like the Little Prince who spends plenty of time with his roses, still he does not regarded it to be a waste of time, because the very time spent makes the roses so important in his life.
Our rose is the purity given by nature, the tradition passed over from grannies to grandchildren, our strife for perfection, the goal and intention that whatever we create should be made important, valuable for others.
More than ten years ago, we decided to try to create such a value in one of the country’s most disadvantaged region, the eastern tip of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County that amalgamates traditions, still satisfies the demands of the present and future generations. Since then, each day we have been striving for perfect tastes, the preservation of the gifts offered by the purity of nature, full compliance with ecological requirements, the continuation of centuries’ traditions, the transfer of our knowledge, the popularization of our culture and settlements. Our tastes closed in the bottles, our flavours packaged in bags are our envoys – the envoys of our family, Penyige, the region and the country.
